Nature of the assessments
Linuen produces assessments of digital projects with the help of artificial intelligence models. Linuen's software computes the amounts from the assumptions of the assessment and applies consistency checks to them. No professional validates an assessment before it is handed to you: each assessment declares itself either “AI-assisted” or “demonstration”.
What an assessment is not
An assessment is not:
- a quote or a price offer from Linuen or from a third party;
- a guaranteed estimate of costs, timelines or effort;
- professional advice in engineering, IT architecture or security;
- legal, tax or compliance advice, in particular with regard to privacy laws.
Variability
Two analyses of the same need can produce different results, sometimes significantly. This is why every amount is presented as a range, with its assumptions and the part that remains to be confirmed.
Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for the decisions you take on the strength of an assessment. It is up to you to have the amounts, the technical choices and the legal obligations confirmed by qualified people before any commitment. The decisions are yours.
What you submit
You may enter in your description of the need whatever your project needs, including personal or confidential information. It is, however, sent to an artificial intelligence provider based outside Canada when you launch an operation, and you remain responsible for what you submit: send only what your project requires. Linuen detects and masks some personal information before anything is sent to the artificial intelligence models; this is a safeguard, not a guarantee.
Liability
Linuen's liability is limited in accordance with the terms of use, which prevail over this notice.
